My first suggestion would be to look up a good open world build for your class and start figuring out how to gear it up in full exotic gear. A fresh level 80 is unlikely to have brilliant gear and expansion content is generally harder than the core game. In both World versus World and Fractals of the Mists, characters are always scaled up to level 80, but skills and traits that are locked remain so. In Structured PvP, characters are scaled up to level 80. Additionally, all skills and traits are unlocked, and the character is given a separate set of PvP-specific max-level equipment. Exploring So today I decided I was going to level a new char 1-80 through crafting. I suggest crafting in Rata Sum as it's very central to the trade post. The tabs are the order in which I did my crafting. Not all crafts go to 400. A couple stop at 350 and some at 375. I only finish the 375-400 tier if it's cheap to do so. I.e. the cost per craft is ~6 Yea we all want a 2k gem thing so we can insta level 80 as many times as we want getting 3 keys for 1 time each monday and 2 keys any others characters we do the same week.Paying of the 2k gems by getting keys in like 5 days of key running. For starters, most players will require third party sites to achieve lv.400 for 20g or less, and even then, most of those third party sites have you follow some pretty complicated methods.The topic starter asked for the fastest way to level 60-80, not the fastest and cheapest. You can literally level that up through crafting in minutes. As someone that has frequently used under level 80/new characters, and been able to use weaponmaster just fine before this update, I can definitely assure this is new and doesn't seem intentional as even with this update, the weapon was working just fine until it was randomly unequipped, or manually unequipped. Well its either you're doing chores in game or in real life. I'd just never re-play the leveling phase of a game. I'd never redo FFXIVs story because it's way too long but I would do leveling roulette to level up other jobs because at least that's random. One exception was Dragon Nest but XCdMbkw.
