Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord – Your Smithing skill, the smithy, and crafting. As mentioned in our skills and perks guide, the Smithing skill is increased by using the smithy in main settlements Mount and Blade 2 is disappointing. I've refunded this game on steam after 1.5 hours. Yes, the game has a fun core, but it is a Mount and Blade HD remake, not an actual sequel: Combat is the same. Game mechanics are exactly the same. Character creation somehow managed to get even uglier. Honestly not that bad. I'm on PS4 and it seems to get me into and out of battle pretty quickly. The longest load times I've suffered is accidentally clicking to fast and actually walking into towns and villages. Not that I ever really want to do that. 1. r/mountandblade. 1. [deleted] • 1 yr. ago. Not worth it and unless there's some special technique i'm missing, the grind feels broken. It offers end game content so it should take time, but I have unlocked every smithing part and made several millions from selling my gear and my trade is only ~170. Never seemed worth a crap in my experience. The cost is too high for the small return they provide. Started a new campaign in 1.7 too. Saved enough to build one with a spicevendor companion . Made it . First few days made 500~600 then it went down to below 100. It fucking sucks. But in 1.5.3 (beta branch) also all of the archery and crossbow perks are implemented. Yeah, singleplayer is worth it. You can play the campaign which can be addictive, do custom matches against AI. There are alot of mods to improve the experience which get updated frequently. Raiding is a form of self mutilation as long as patches are not doing much. Even if they are buffing it it will still be a win-lose situation. Maybe it is worth it for roleplaying things. Burn everything down and leave the enemy with scorched earth instead of conquering their stuff. The whole point of castles is to hold down a point with very few troops. Some of the castles in England were made so well 30 men could hold off a siege. Castles are much to easy to siege in this game. You need massive garrisons in every castle to keep it. It’s why castles are a drain. Until you do HEMA or watch others sparring, you don't realize how dangerous they are even with "sparring heads." Menavlions are HEAVY spears, with decent cutting capabilities as well. It's not strange that it's a powerful swinging polearm in game, but it is strange that its treated like it could kill a fully armored knight in one thwack. If you Ie. unless deep in enemy lands. Show mercy best. The gold is way low. If it was 20k for my party, I would do it, and let the Lord who gets the place deal with the wreckage. I would take all the stuff. But for like the 500 gold or so for my party. brief moral boost 10. Not worth. Those buildings takes years to build. Unless you really want to ruin someones inner kingdom. Only to mess their 4KIWB6a.
